Early Career Research Representative required for NIHR CRN Genetics National Specialty Group

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network is looking to appoint an Early Career Researcher Representative to the Genetics National Specialty Group. An early career researcher (ECR) is defined as being healthcare professionals* currently in training posts or within 5 years (excluding career breaks, and extended pro rata for those in less than full-time work) of appointment to substantive NHS (or equivalent) positions. Special consideration will be given to those who can demonstrate they were only able to take up research opportunities later in their career. *The term healthcare professionals includes, but is not limited to: radiographers, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, genetic counsellors, clinical pharmacists, biomedical scientists, dentists, doctors and nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals.
