BSGM Annual Conference 2024 (in-person) – abstract submission now open
We would like to invite you to submit abstracts for the BSGM Conference 2024, taking place at the Royal College of Physicians London, on Tuesday 5th November.
This year’s focus will be on AI, the power of big data, gene therapies and recent developments in genomic medicine. Among the confirmed speakers are Prof. Dr. Stephen Gilbert (Technical University of Dresden, Germany), Dr Panicos Shangaris (King's College London, United Kingdom), and Prof Sian Ellard (University of Exeter Medical School) who will be giving the BSGM Lecture.
Please find the preliminary conference programme HERE subject to change by the SPC Committee.
We encourage submissions that consider equality, diversity and inclusion, and from early career researchers (<3 years' experience in a substantive post, eg STP trainees or recently registered Clinical Scientists; registrars or recently qualified Consultants or Genetic Counsellors). All early career researchers who have applied during the abstract submission as a first and presenting author will be considered for an award.
The deadline to submit an abstract is 23:59h on Monday 1st of July 2024.
