BSGM Annual Conference 2025 (in-person) – abstract submission extension

Great news! 

We have extended the abstract submission deadline to Friday 11th July 2024 - 23:59h. There will be no further extension after this as we’ll be focusing on marking the abstracts and inform submitting authors of the outcome.
Please remember to keep the 5th November free to be at the conference at the Royal College of Physicians London. 

Abstract requirements & process
•    We encourage submissions that consider equality, diversity and inclusion, and from early career researchers (<3 years' experience in a substantive post, eg STP trainees or recently registered Clinical Scientists; registrars or recently qualified Consultants or Genetic Counsellors). 
●    To ensure we can include as many high-quality presentations as possible, we welcome abstracts for: 
○    Standard presentation (10 minutes) 
○    Poster submission 
●    The word count limit is 200 words - any submissions over this will not be accepted. 
●    Please do not include any sensitive or patient information in the abstract.
●    Please use the BSGM Abstract Submission Form which can be found HERE

The BSGM supports members to attend the conference in-person by offering Awards to cover expenses - details will follow shortly.

The preliminary conference programme can be found HERE subject to change by the SPC Committee.
