The Joint Committee on Genomics in Medicine

The Joint Committee on Genomics in Medicine is a tripartite committee of the BSGM, RCPath and RCP, with representation from other professional bodies and patient organisations. It provides a unified forum to co-ordinate activities across a wide spectrum of organisations, particularly to promote and maintain the highest standards of practice in clinical and laboratory applications of genetics in medicine and to co-ordinate advice on service issues and workforce planning.

Please join us for our highly regarded and interactive revision course. The course is aimed at Specialist Registrars in Clinical Genetics taking the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) exam. The course content is likely to helpful for all UK trainees, including those registered for the European Certificate in Medical Genetics and Genomics (ECMGG) exams. The course will give a broad overview of knowledge required for a Clinical Geneticist. Sessions will include Bayes & Hardy Weinberg calculations, statistics for the exam and a range of clinical and laboratory topics.
