A BSGM 'Lunch and Learn' online session, bringing together members from across the Society to learn and discuss topics of interest to all.

During this month's Lunch and Learn, we will hear from Rosie Lindup, Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA) about their recent report, From innovation to impact: unlocking patient access to innovative rare disease medicines.

Rosie works at the BIA, the trade association for the UK's innovative life sciences and biotech sector. She leads the BIA's policy work on regulation and access for innovative medicines, supporting BIA members to deliver transformative treatments to patients. This includes overseeing the BIA's Rare Disease Industry Group (RDIG) to address specific issues affecting access to medicines for rare conditions. Outside of the BIA, Rosie is a trustee at Metabolic Support, the umbrella patient organisation for people living with and affected by Inherited Metabolic Disorders.

Rosie will be joined by Andrew Olaye, General Manager UK & Ireland at Orchard Therapeutics. Andrew is also the Vice Chair of the BIA Rare Disease Industry Group (RDIG).

All sessions will be recorded and available via the BSGM website for members unable to attend live.

If you are unable to attend and have any questions you would like to submit in advance please send them to the events team at events@rsb.org.uk
