A BSGM 'Lunch and Learn' online session, bringing together members from across the Society to learn and discuss topics of interest to all.
During this month's Lunch and Learn, we will hear from Suha Bachir, MD, MS, FACMG, FAAP, Genetics Director at the Cardiovascular Connective Tissue clinic at Stanford University School of Medicine, who will deliver a talk regarding advaces in genomics and patient care in relation to Connective Tissue Disorders and Myhre Syndrome.
Dr Suha Bachir is a board-certified clinical geneticist and Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Medical Genetics at Stanford University School of Medicine. She directs the Stanford Myhre Syndrome Clinic and specializes in the diagnosis and management of hereditary connective tissue disorders, cardiovascular genetic conditions, and rare genetic diseases. Her research focuses on improving the recognition and care of patients with connective tissue disorders, including Myhre syndrome and Marfan syndrome, and she serves as an investigator with the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Network. Dr Bachir is passionate about advancing genomic medicine and improving diagnostic outcomes for individuals with rare genetic conditions.
All sessions will be recorded and available via the BSGM website for members unable to attend live.
